The last week of February was dedicated to the first week of summer garden prep – sweet peas were soaked, the seeds I collected from last summer’s garden were sown, and a few new dahlia and gladiola bulbs were planted.
The plan is to plant throughout the season for continuous blooms and a garden filled with constant colour and fragrant flowers.
I’m excited to connect with other green thumbs, gardeners, and flower growers this summer and to have time to dedicate to writing, flower play, and creating on the daily. Big thanks to Diana and Ron for adding me to their Gabriola Garden Club membership! Garden tours and nursery discounts are music to my flowery soul.
Happy growing, green thumb lovelies!
